CO-135 Draft Gunnison Valley Safety Action Plan (SAP)

The Gunnison Valley CO-135 Safe Streets for All (SS4A) Project and CO-135 Safety Action Plan (SAP) aims to improve traffic safety outcomes along Colorado State Highway 135 (CO-135) between US Highway 50 in the City of Gunnison and Elk Avenue in Crested Butte. The SAP will serve as a guide for infrastructure investment on the corridor, and as a foundation for pursuing grant funding for implementing roadway improvements on the corridor to address location-specific and systemic safety issues.

The Community Development staff works with City Council, the Planning and Zoning Commission, members of the public, federal and state resource agencies, and appropriate consultants in the development of documents that guide the future development of the City of Gunnison.
